How to Receive God’s Blessings in Our Christian Life ?

Many times we want the best of God and also of the world, love, money and health, but, we
have not asked ourselves how are we living? So we want to receive all the good things but
we do not realize if we are doing it right or not, we need to meditate on this, and start
looking for ways to receive the blessing of God, both spiritual and material. So, we need to ask ourselves, How to Receive God’s Blessings in Our Christian Life?
Most of the time we forget how important a blessing is. God has given us the ability to
bless. That we are a blessing for our own children and loved ones. But through ignorance,
many times instead of speaking blessings for their lives, we attract curses because of the
words we express through our mouths.

The blessing brings to our lives mercies, favors, the grace of God and brings peace and joy.
This is one of the promises. The Bible possesses and speaks to us of more than two
thousand promises for each one of us.

What do we have to do to receive the blessing?
“Not returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but rather blessing, because you were called
for the purpose of inheriting blessing” (1 Peter 3: 9)

How to receive the blessing of God, this only depends on what we can do so that the Lord
can give us what he has reserved.

We all want to be blessed. We seek blessings of health, finances, favors or grace in the
eyes of other people. We want all the blessings that are possible. We want to find God’s
favor in our lives. The blessings of God can change our lives but it only depends on us to
get them.

“Finally, be all of one mind, compassionate, loving one another fraternally, merciful,
friendly.” (1 Peter 3: 8)

The golden rule is so called in the bible.

According to this passage of 1 Peter 3: 8 we have to be:
1. Of the same feeling
2. Compassionate
3. Having love for our neighbor
4. Merciful
5. Friendly

These attitudes that the bible mentions, are the characteristics of the character of Jesus,
therefore, God demands that just as Christ with his example gave us to know the character
that a true son must have, so that we can be true children we have to to put these
characteristics into practice, so that he may be one with us, manifesting Christ
in everything.

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to
their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. ” (1 Peter 3:12)

Clearly that verse speaks to us, that if in our heart there is evil with others, God does not
esteem us to bless us, because only those with a good heart are those who receive
blessings, because the word says that the eyes of God are on the righteous.

“keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander” (1 Peter 3:16)

What will we get as a blessing for doing all that God demands of us?
Peace and joy Even in the middle of the storm we will receive these two things.

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5: 1)

Who is Peter talking to, the author of this letter?
Peter speaks to Christians, to all people who want to have a transformation in their lives
and be born again, to the true children of God, to people who do not live according to the
flesh, but who live according to the Spirit. The apostle Paul does not present them in this
way:

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[b] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.[c] And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. ” (Romans 8: 1-6)

It is clear that if we fulfill what God speaks to us through his word, then, we become
worthy of all the promises that the Lord has prepared for us, just as they are:

1) Have a clean conscience.
2) Love of neighbor, for this we must have the ability to forgive.
3) Stability in emotions.

Prepare to receive the blessing of God.
We should not be afraid to demonstrate God as a priority, because of him we have a promise: his blessing that will not shorten or diminish, he will make what we give to others multiply us for our blessing. We all have something that we should give to the Lord, we should not be afraid, when we give we are getting in the position of receiving.

One of the great problems of Christians is that we do not know how to handle God’s
successes in our lives. We are used to living limited, to have nothing and scarcity, that when
the Lord opens the doors and the windows of heaven over our lives, we do not know how to
handle the blessings of God.

If we want to enjoy the blessings and also the prosperity of God we must begin to ask him
for wisdom to know how to administer everything he will give us.

Wisdom for what?
Do not forget where our blessing comes from (Deuteronomy 8: 11-14)
So that our success does not alienate us from God (Revelation 3: 15-17)
So that the heart does not fill with pride and we despise the neighbor (1 Samuel 2: 3)
The question we must ask ourselves, to know how to receive the blessing of God, one of the
most important question is: Do we really long for God’s blessing ?, because if so, you must start doing what is written in the word, or said, the will of God. And he wants you to be able to fulfill what he asks of you, so that in this way there is no obstacle for the favor of God to be with you.

Beloved brother; It is time for us to humble ourselves but with a sincere and transparent
heart, it is time to reap a daily habit regarding the search for the presence of God and
above all it is time to act.

God wants to bless you, of that you should not have doubt, but you have to fulfill
what the Lord is asking you to do. If so, then do not worry, because very soon you will
begin to see how God will bless you greatly .
