What kind of person God uses?

Think about the time you were asked to take care of a certain task in the church, but you felt that you did not have enough education, experience or ability to accept it. We all tend to feel that way from time to time, and we even make asks to God why we are not the right person. Let us know, What kind of person God uses?

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.  But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:26-31

The Lord does not always use brilliant, influential or expert people to do his work.

In fact, God often chooses those whom the world considers ignorant, weak, insignificant, common and ordinary to work in his kingdom. And it has two fundamental reasons for doing so. First, by doing great things through non-exceptional people, God shows that the wisdom of the world is madness. And, second, since the children of God have no reason to boast, they have no power to save themselves, and no capacity to serve Him without His power and wisdom.

God is not interested in the brilliant human talent, nor in the natural capacity of people. He is looking for humble people who are totally dependent on Him, and who are willing to put themselves at the disposal of whatever He calls them to do. Moses did not feel that the Lord could use him to get the Israelites out of Egypt because he was not fluent, but he became one of the greatest leaders in Jewish history. David was young and had no experience as a warrior, but the Spirit of God gave him power to sabotage a giant with a small stone.

If you have surrendered to Christ, no matter how old or qualified you feel. If you simply depend on Christ, place yourself at his dominion and obeys him, He will use him for his glory.
